The above video gives an in-depth look into the fuel economy of the 2021 Hybrid Rav4. With the price of gas this week hitting $1.80 per liter this Hybrid is looking more appealing by the day. Finally, we are going to start researching the battery life of this hybrid engine.

I did not know what I was expecting, but I was shocked to see that a typical hybrid battery only lasts 80,000-100,000km. The article below states, “However, in 2019, the manufacturer announced that, from the 2020 model year, it was extending its hybrid battery warranty to 10 years from the date of first use, or 150,000 miles.” Next week we will dig deeper into what affects battery life, as well as how much the battery costs to replace!
